About Us

Over the years, Planeswalker's Library has undergone many transformations to get it to the place it is today. What started out as just a hobby grew to a small side project, and then a home office based business. Now, we're proud to say that we've grown out of that home office to become the company we currently are. From our always expanding product lines to our completely unique and custom Mana Points Rewards, we've changed many things since we first got into the business of spreading the fun and enjoyment of Magic: The Gathering to people all over the world. But even though we sometimes like to look back at where we've been, we're more excited about where we're going.

In fact it's the drive to always deliver excellence to our customers that makes us often ask: with so many competing Magic: The Gathering online retailers, how are you supposed to tell them apart? Here, we know how difficult it can be to find the best place to shop for your MTG and gaming needs. Unlike so many other shops, we don't want to waste your time talking about how outstanding our customer service is, how wide and affordable our selections of singles are, how fast and accurate our shipping is, or how we pride ourselves on always satisfying our customers. Because honestly, you should expect those things no matter where you shop. If the place where you buy your cards from can only talk about how fast their shipping is and can't offer you anything else, well, maybe you should look someplace new.

Or maybe it's because we're the only MTG online store to offer our customers something for nothing; our Mana Points Rewards program lets our customers collect points and redeem them for cards and accessories. FAQ's

I have some cards I'd like to sell, will Planeswalker's Library buy them?
Possibly. We maintain a buy list of all the cards we are currently willing to buy and the prices we offer for them. If the cards you would like to sell are on our buy list, we have a form for you to fill out which we need before we can proceed. Once we have received the cards from you and they are in good condition, we will credit your Planeswalker’s Library account with the equivalent amount.

A card/product I want is not in stock, when will it be available?
It’s difficult to put a specific time frame on when certain cards and/or products become available. Much of the availability of our stock is dependent on many factors outside of our control. We do strive to always keep as many of the Standard legal cards in stock as possible at all times. All of the products that are not in stock do have a “Notify Me When Available” feature however. Simply click this button on the product you’d like, and as soon as it becomes available we will send you an email letting you know.
It's been some days and my order hasn't arrived yet, where is it?
Unfortunately once an order has been shipped by us we have no control over it. Most domestic shipments arrive within 3-5 business days, but some may take longer due to unforeseen circumstances (misplaced, weather, Godzilla, etc.). International orders typically take longer, and can take up to 6 weeks to arrive. If your order came with a tracking number (any order over $20 should come with a tracking number) you can check your order's status on our Order Status page.
My order is international, and the tracking shows it hasn't left the US yet, why is it taking so long?
All of our shipments are handled by the United States Postal Service, and we provide tracking for all international orders. However, the USPS does not track packages once they leave the United States, which is why international orders often don’t appear to be moving. Our international orders can vary greatly in the time it takes for delivery, and are affected by a number of factors including distance, import/export restrictions and hold-ups, political climates, and weather. Though the majority of our international orders arrive in a timely fashion, some can take 6 weeks or longer to reach their destination.
Would Planeswalker's Library be willing to sponsor my YouTube channel/website?
We evaluate all of our sponsorships on a case-by-case basis. This often depends on our current needs, which often change. We highly encourage all those interested to send us an email outlining the details of the proposed sponsorship and some links to your channel, website, and/or body of work.

Shipping & Handling

Shipping & Handling for your order will be calculated based upon the number of cards in your order. We charge a base rate plus a small amount for each card ordered. This charge covers the cost of both postage AND shipping materials (like bubble mailers, labels, ink, paper, card protectors, card cases, etc.).

Standard Shipping (Cheapest): Standard Orders will be processed and shipped USPS First Class Mail within 2 business days after the day the order is placed. Tracking information will be provided for any orders over $20 in value.

Expedited Shipping (Best Value): Expedited Orders will be processed and shipped USPS First Class Mail or USPS Priority Mail (depending on weight) and will be processed ahead of any Standard Orders. Expedited Orders gernally ship within 1 business day. Tracking information will be provided for any orders over $20 in value.

Rush Shipping (Fastest): Rush Orders will be processed and shipped USPS Priority Mail within 1 business day and get priority over any Standard or Expedited orders. Tracking information will be provided for all Rush orders.

ALL Orders will be shipped in padded envelopes and all cards will be protected by either rigid top-loaders or plastic hinge cases to ensure their safe arrival to you. All domestic orders over $20 will receive a tracking number once the order has shipped.

Payment Options

We accept credit card payments (Visa, Discover, MasterCard, and American Express) through our SSL secured servers. We are an Authorize.net Verified Merchant and PCI Compliant Verified through Trustwave. We DO NOT store any of your credit card information. You may also place an order using your PayPal account. Please Note: We can no longer accept Google Wallet payments since Google has shut down Google Wallet. Regardless of how you pay, we do not and will not store (or even see) any of your personal information (with the exception of your shipping address). You can start earning Mana Points with each purchase you make, which will be collected in your Mana Pool at Planeswalker's Library. Mana points earned during the current earning period can be redeemed for a variety of items at Planeswalker's Library during the next redemption period.
